What to Know about Internet Marketing Tools?
Marketing is a basic need for any business to flourish and expand. Internet is the easiest, fastest and the most effective way of making people aware of your organization and your products and thus increasing or expanding potential sales opportunities of the product.
Thus, Internet marketing can be summed up as a process of providing information about your organization and its product and also taking feedback from the users about their preferences and their needs, using internet as a medium.
Many people, who own a business, usually launch their own website in order to promote their products and business. But, after starting the website, one thing that you will discover is that there is low traffic or initially no traffic at all. This means there is a need for good Internet marketing tool. Under are some of the best tools with the help of which you can improve and support the marketing objectives of your business online.
Website Blog: Blogs are one of the best internet marketing tools. Blogging is very effective in attracting visitors towards your website and to share their personal thoughts, ideas and experiences. Blogs should have some basic elements like a proper name and category so that blogs can be easily classified, which helps in further easy navigation through the various blogging topics. It should welcome comments from the users thus helping in achieving proper feedback from the users.
Pay-Per-Click Marketing: In this marketing tool, price is paid to the search engine providers with a view that when a user enters and searches some keyword prominent in your ad or article, he/she can view your ad and may click on it. In this way, traffic to your website can be increased. Cost involved in this strategy depends upon the traffic visiting your website.
Search Engine Optimization: Search Engine optimization is similar to Pay-Per-Click marketing tool. The only difference is that it is less expensive, as it requires you to pay an initial cost and later small overhead cost. With that, you can enjoy greater traffic. There is no need to pay according to the traffic visiting your site. The only drawback in this tool is that, if you do not use an effective keyword, you may not attract traffic as desired.
There are more Internet Marketing tools, but knowing them is not enough. You need to create wise marketing plans and strategies with these tools to thrive your online venture.

Traffic from search engine is the main source of traffic this days and to get more traffic from search engines you should be ranked high and for this well SEO is needed. When it comes to SEO[search engine optimization], getting other websites to link to your website is the most important factor in achieving top search engine rankings. Here are 10 link building strategies listed which surely help you for top search engine rankings:
1. Quality Article Is Must – Write quality articles that other websites will want to post on their websites and link to. The higher the quality of the article, the more one-way links you’ll get. The best articles to write are ‘how-to’ and informational articles.
2. Google loves wordpress blogs – Setup a Wordpress blog on your website and post articles to it once per week. It’s a great way to build the size of your website, keep your website content fresh and get incoming links. Plus Google loves Wordpress!
3. Promote your articles online – Take the articles that you’ve posted to your blog and syndicate them on article directories such as Ezine Articles and Go Articles, so that other website owners can post them on their websites.
4. Website or blog directories also help – Submit your website to free SEO friendly website directories for a quick way to start building one-way links to your website.
5. Link exchange with relevant blogs – Exchange links with high quality, relevant websites in your field. This can be extremely powerful, as long as you are very selective with whom you exchange links with.
6. Submit to social bookmarking sites – Submit your blog posts and other high value content to social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Reddit and StumbleUpon. Aside from the one-way link you’ll get and the (short-term) top Google ranking, you can hit the ‘jackpot’ by getting to the first page of digg.com, where you’ll receive thousands of one-way links.
7. Commenting on blogs with same niche – Post high value comments on other blogs in your niche to spark discussion. Even if the comments are ‘nofollowed’, you can still get links to your site from other bloggers that refer to your posts.
I think these tips really gonna help you. If you have any suggestions or comments or questions post below.

In the business world, you are required to spend money in other to get more money. This separates the serious business owners from the non-serious ones. But having an online business is different from the traditional business. In the online business, you can use a blog and make money from it. You don't have to spend money hosting your blog or to pay for any service. If you want to make money online without spending any money, these are what you should do.
1. Get a free blog:- Any one would work just fine, but the blog of most internet marketers is blogger. This is easy to create and set up. You would have to decide if you want to make money with contextual ads or through affiliate program. After you have decided what you want to do, you would go to blogspot and publish the post you have written.
2. Get Traffic to the Blog:- After publishing your blog post, the next thing you want to do is to get traffic to the blog because traffic, your blog is like a fish swimming in the pacific ocean. Without traffic, your blog is another blog that is in the blogosphere that no one knows about. You can get traffic by commenting on other people's blog, being active in forums, doing article marketing and social bookmarking. All these methods are free. They just require your time.
3. Track Your Traffic:- When you see that you are getting traffic to the blog, install a tracking code to see where your visitors are coming from. There are many free tracking codes to use on your blog. Check where the traffic is coming from and capitalize on that traffic. By this I mean you would continue doing what you were doing to bring more of that traffic. If you are getting traffic and you are not making any money yet, that means that you have the wrong traffic. Check your traffic stats again and see where the second source of traffic is coming from. Put more effort so that you get more of that traffic and maybe you might start making money money.
Making money with contextual ads such as adsense needs more work. It required you to get traffic from search engine to get clicks on the ads. Affiliate marketing is much easier because if you do article marketing, people would find your article from search engine and click to your blog. If you have more articles that they like, they might click on your affiliate link and buy a product you recommended. It is easier for search engine bots to see and index your article on article sites than them to index your blog because your blog don't have much authority like the article site. It would take a while for your site to reach that type of authority.

Google has recently posted a video that is pretty useful for you to increase your AdSense revenue. The video can be access here. The video provides a lot of AdSense optimization tips to help you figure out the best locations for displaying your AdSense on your site without against AdSense program policies.
If you haven't known yet, Google doesn't allowed publishers to blend their ads too much with content. For the past six months, Google has been hunting down sites and blogs that get high click-through rate and high AdSense earning. The reason is that they blended their AdSense ads too much with content; making the ads look part of the content. This definitely will generate high click through rate but Google doesn't like it because the visitors not aware they are clicking ads. I was once suspended by Google for blending the ads too much. If you are interested to read my story, here's the link:
http://moneymakerinfo.blogspot.com/2008/11/i-no-long-can-make-money-online-with.html
This AdSense optimization video of Google not just useful for AdSense beginners, I think the experienced publishers will also find some good AdSense earning tips in the video. So, if AdSense is one of your money making programs, I suggest you watch the video.
Another news about AdSense is that Firefox has just released a new add on for Adsense publishers. The ad on is called AdSense Monitor. You can find and install this add-on here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12735
It was provided by the developer team from http://www.whydowork.com/forums. Using AdSense Monitor, you will be able to see your AdSense earning and other AdSense data in status bar, updated in near real time. For those who have a habit of checking their AdSense earning several times a day, this Firefox add-on will make AdSense earning checking convenient for them.
Sales letters are still a very effective way to generate demand for all sorts of products or services. This is especially true if you already have an opt-in list. However, everyone knows that most people don't like receiving sales pitches in their emails. For your sales letter to be effective in generating demand for the products and services of your online business, there are a couple of steps for you to follow.
Step #1: Determine Your Objective
Before you begin composing your sales letter, be sure you have a clear notion of what your objective is. Think about what exactly you want to communicate and what you hope to achieve with your sales letter.
Step #: Consider Your Target Market
As an online business owner, you should already know the demographics and psychographics of your own target market. Consider their needs and preferences before you begin writing your sales letter. This will help you determine how best to communicate with them.
Step #3: Come Up with a Catch Phrase
Think of a catch phrase that would best describe what you have to offer. Make this the first thing that your reader will see upon opening your sales letter. By making your catch phrase immediately visible, you are more likely to capture the interest of your readers and entice them to read on. A short testimonial may work as well. Just be sure that your catch phrase or your testimonial describes how people can benefit from what you have to offer.
Step #4: Introduce Your Online Business
The next step is to introduce your online business and the purpose of its existence. Take note that it is not your goal to boast about your online business but to detail your objectives in terms of helping other people out. For example, it is better to write about how your online business has helped other entrepreneurs to be successful than about how much profits you generate in a year. Detail the issues of your target market and how it is the goal of your online business to address those issues. Remember that your readers want to know how they can benefit from patronizing your company and not how you are more successful than they are.
Step #5: Describe Your Products and Services
Once you've introduced your online business appropriately, it would be time to introduce the specific products and services that would help solve the issues you've described. Make this part of your sales letter short but be sure it details what benefits your readers can gain from your products and services.
Step #6: Persuade Your Readers to Take Action
At the end of your sales letter, be sure to include a call-to-action statement so your readers will be prompted to make a purchase or, at least, visit your website. To make your call-to-action stronger, you may want to include a time-limited promo. Doing this will encourage your readers to take action quickly.
By following the steps detailed above, you can easily develop effective sales letters for your online business. Once you send it out to your mailing list, you will quickly generate the demand you need for your online business to succeed.
You Need Video to Sell Products
ON 22:14 0 COMMENTS
Selling products online, whether your own or someone else's through an affiliate program, can be a difficult struggle for some who may not be familiar with what it takes to earn online. The problem starts with how you present your product(s), although this post isn't about that. It's about how familiar you are with the product you are promoting and how you market it to your customers.
People visiting your site for the first time that only see links and a few images for products will likely not return. Instead, they'll go somewhere else looking for reviews or comparative products. They don't want to be bombarded with ads. Instead, they want some value, and most likely, that'll come in the form of a video.
1. Videos help promote what you are trying to sell because the visitor knows that you have actually used and tried the product and simply aren't trying to sell it because you think it will make you a lot of money.
2. They are both informative and straight-forward. Users would rather not read through ten pages of content and would instead rather listen to or watch a five minute demonstration or tutorial.
3. Video has become more popular and it's even easier to make a video today than ever before. With a budget of $100 or less, you can begin to create professional videos. Many operating systems come with great software for editing videos, including iMovie, which is a part of iLife on the Mac operating system. Similar products can be found for free or at affordable pricing/
4. When you distribute your video to various sites, you will be spreading word about your site if you do it the correct way.
5. Many people find it easier to speak and demonstrate, compared to using persuasive text to inform readers and get your point across.
All in all, video is continuing to grow, and now, more than ever, it is important to add more value to your site by helping your visitors become acquainted with a product before they go ahead and purchase it.
How to Use Landing Pages Effectively
ON 06:51 1 COMMENTS
Putting landing pages to work effectively on your site can be a great benefit to you, especially if you are targeting search engine traffic, and who isn't? While landing pages aren't any different from other content on your site, they are typically more defined, and typically act as though they are a single part of your site - you don't really want visitors going away from this page until they convert into a sale, a visitor to another site, or have accomplished what you wanted them to. It's that simple when you break it down.
However, there are a few basics to working with landing pages that can make all the difference. Many of these tips hold true for other areas that you work on when you build your site(s) to generate profit. You have to continually test to see what works, so the advice below is simply a basis that you should modify and tweak as you work on each site/project.
- Provide something useful to your visitors. This may be as little as answering one of their questions or giving away a few chapters of an e-book for free. They don't want to see a blank page.
- Tell your visitors what they should be doing. Often, this is placed in a video, but you come off as a scam extremely quickly when you have it automatically play, pop-up, or in a format that isn't integrated into the site well.
- Headlines and transitions throughout the page should be clear and definitive. They need to flow. Don't overdo the amount of headlines or text – balance everything out.
- Following up from number three, use bullets and other forms of separation to ensure that the page is easy to read.
- Write like a book, but much shorter. The introduction should grab the person's attention, the middle should include the meat of what the article is about, and the ends should tie everything together. If you can't do all this within a "screen length," you'll have to work on writing condensed, more effective copy.
- Look at what your competition is doing to ensure that you are in line with what visitors are expecting when they visit your site.
- Choose a hosting company or services that are able to deliver your site quickly and clean manner.
- Cut the cord to external navigation, other than anything that may be related to what you are trying to accomplish. Remember, they came to this page for a reason – keep them here until they have fulfilled what you are both looking for.
- Useless 'stuff' - take it off the page as soon as possible. This goes in line with number eight, but is extremely important. You don't have to associate a picture of yourself with the product unless you have done studies that it gives the visitors a better idea of who they are really helping and not someone they are simply supporting.
- Add visual elements, but keep them simple and only place them on the page if they are really effective. If anything, choose a default CSS, blog, or WordPress template and customize it thoroughly to your liking and in a manner that helps attain your goals.
- See what works. Continually test the page against other versions to see which one(s) work the best.
- The purpose of landing pages is to separate what may appear to be an "ad" from your site and focus all the energy and purpose into a single page. You don't have to promote your product or services through every post, just this single page. That's what makes them more effective.
- Create an experience for your visitors. Like larger companies, you can create campaigns around products and ensure that your visitors return from the site (even if they didn't purchase or "convert") with a better experience than they were expecting.
- Have some confidence statement, such as testimonials (and real ones at that), which will help you better promote your product.
Landing pages can be a great solution to the traditional post that gets buried on your blog in a matter of days. They can be updated frequently, and when using WordPress or more complete solutions, can take a few minutes to launch. Using custom page templates, you can remove much of what exists on the page to ensure that your visitors remain on your page.
Spending Money Properly Online
ON 16:34 0 COMMENTS
Most of us were brought up with the proper ways to spend money and how to save money for the future. You have to apply the same principle to your efforts online. Starting for free is definitely an option, but for most people, it isn't the preferred method, because they expect costs to be involved in everything they do.
If you happen to be one of these people, you have to realize there are are a few rules to making money online first:
– You don't have to be rich, just have access to a computer and Internet to begin making money online.
– The main key to making money online, of course, is bringing in more money than you are spending to create that money. While most people online don't have to maintain inventories of products, it is a good idea to ensure that you are able to maintain an edge over you competitors.
– Don't let anyone take advantage of you and ensure that you aren't being ripped off. Know what you should be expecting to pay for various items, ranging form hosting to website design.
– Just because you are telling people to purchase your product, this doesn't mean that you should fall for the bribes of others. You don't have to purchase e-books from others that might never be read.
By the time you begin adding up the costs of some of the gimmicks that beginners purchase when they start their first blogs or website, it becomes harder for them to begin advertising their site and making money on their own. After all, your main goal should be to make money, not spend money.
Making Money with Amazon.com
ON 16:32 1 COMMENTS
As the ninth most popular Internet destination, Amazon.com can certainly appear as a daunting place to try to make money, but it certainly isn't. Through their Amazon Associates program, you can review and sell any of their products on your site. Although they are moving away from PPC traffic as a way of generating sales, you can still try your luck at using the links in honest reviews. After all, you can buy nearly anything from Amazon today.
We'll assume that you don't have any type of site setup yet. While many people are able to create a simple site within a few minutes, for this experiment, you don't have anything setup and no background knowledge. The main problem here is time. As previously stated, it may only take a few minutes to create a website, but until you are able to draw in links, traffic, and create a useful website, it will be days, if not weeks, until everything is setup.
The First Step: Choose a Niche or Topic
Think about a category that you want to write about or are able to create a wide array of posts/descriptions for based on previous knowledge. Although you could simply copy the editorial reviews (putting some of it into your own words), you have to appeal to the people visiting your site or blog. They need to be aware that you have some background and know what you are talking about.
Second Step: Learning What it Takes
Setting up a site can be a hard task for some to do. You'll need to research how to insert images, text, and links into a typical site (HTML) and how to style them using CSS. Using a pre-built template may be your best option, but you have less control if you go this course.
Next, you should do some research on what works in terms of marketing products to others and promoting your blog. It is best to get started now, versus later, as it gives you more options when you write your content and are optimizing it for search engines.
Third Step: Purchasing a Site and Starting Out
I'd suggest that you purchase a hosting account and domain of your own. Even though you still have the ability to earn with Blogger and other free services, when it comes to managing your files and ensuring that your site remains "yours," it is best that you use a paid plan.
Choose a domain name that really works for you. Don't use your name in it, unless you are promoting your own products that you sell through Amazon, and this is less likely, unless you are a larger publisher/merchant.
If you go the most affordable route, you could be investing as little as $100/year into your site, more expensive plans can cost into the thousands, but you are just starting out, so you don't need thousands of megabytes of transfer or storage.
Fourth Step: Begin Creating Content
The next step is to install the blog or some type of software onto your site that allows you to manage all of your content. Once you have accomplished this (the first time can be confusing, but still remain fairly easy if you follow the instructions), start creating the content. Take a product that you have used – that may be a book, movie, or music album that you enjoyed – and post images, links, and your own review of it.
This may be a great way to get started making money online, especially if you enjoy reviewing your favorite products. Keep in mind that publishing negative reviews won't always harm your sales numbers, as it informs your readers to what they can expect, and may send them to another one of your products.
Fifth Step: Finalization
Each day (or at a fairly frequent interval), create a new piece of content for your site. They don't have to all be reviews, as you should mix it up between reviews and tips/advice on using the products in real life.
Other options from Amazon include the aStore, which handles all of your sales and your hosting. However, there may be costs involved at some point, so you should probably continue working on your own project and sites rather than going the "easy" way.
Conclusion
While I covered many of the basics, you need to be aware that a lot of additional factors go into play when it comes to traffic versus sales figures. Although you can certainly make a lot of money selling others' products, you have to realize that it doesn't come easy and without effort on your part.

The Keyword Crash Course

My regular readers are familiar with Courtney Tuttle and Mark Butler who run a teaching blog for Internet Marketing called the Keyword Academy. If you are new here or are one of the hundreds who have emailed me asking "where to start" or, more to the point, have asked me if I would be willing to tutor you directly on "how to make money online" then I strongly suggest you take a look at Court and Mark's Keyword Crash Course.
Both men are professional marketers, they teach the same basics as I do and offer one on one mentoring in this business. TheCrash Course is designed for beginners just starting out and you can get your feet wet for a buck - a token introductory price for a month just to keep the tire kickers and time wasters away. If you are looking for real instruction on making a living online then join Court and Mark. If you are just looking for another "get rich quick" ebook or gimmick then they aren't for you.
If you found my site chances are you found it ranking high in Google for the term you searched for. This wasn't an accident - it is what I do and it is the keystone for making money online. How can you learn to dominate Google and the other search engines? You can start at the beginning of this blog and read or take the more focused approach offered by Court and Mark. Unfortunately I just don't have the time to offer personal guidance so please don't ask. I wouldn't recommend theKeyword Academy if I didn't endorse the fellows fully.
I would love to get some feedback from those of you who have already joined Court/Mark - good, bad or otherwise let us know.
For those of you interested in Court's affiliate program you can get more info here;

PROJECT PAYDAY - A LEGIT METHOD TO MAKE MONEY AT HOME
I have included Project Payday on my blog for all of my readers who write in asking if there are any legit online programs that they can use to make some quick money. Project Payday is not a get rich quick scheme - it is more like a work at home job. You don't need a blog or website as it involves getting paid to try out trial offers from online advertisers. There is work to this but you can realistically earn a couple of hundred dollars a day if you want to put in the effort.
I have written several posts about this and suggest you start with this one. Project Payday
Unfortunately Project Payday is only available to American and Canadian users at this time. Oh and it is free.
Note - After signing up take advantage of the Fast First Training link - you can learn how the IFW system works while making yourself a quick $50.00.

For those of you interested in Court's affiliate program you can get more info here;

For those of you interested in Court's affiliate program you can get more info here;

A Teaser...
To the regular gang of MMO'ers - Thanks for the concerned emails and comments. Everything is fine, better than fine actually and I will be posting an update on the Griz blog (soon) explaining what I've been doing etc. Sorry for the absence but all is well and I should be back shortly...
Cheers,
Griz

All these fellows are knowledgeable about SEO,Blogging, Pre-Owned Domains, Internet Marketing and more - they go out of their way to help people - especially beginners - and they don't charge you a thing. They are also really nice guys if that matters to you. If you are a beginner then read the right blogs and avoid all the nonsense you read on the so called A-List. If you want toearn money online then learn from the people who are doing it right and are not just selling you crap or, for that matter, selling anything at all.
